Weathering and Aging Test

 

With the continuous improvement of people's requirements for product quality and the development of material research technology, the service life and effects of various materials are constantly improving. The aging of common plastics, rubber, coatings and some high-scoring materials or products has become increasingly serious. The more people pay attention to it, the aging phenomenon can be seen everywhere around us. The most common ones are the discoloration, blistering, powdering, and cracking of paints and plastics used outdoors after long-term exposure to sunlight, wind and rain. Some plastics used indoors The casing of home appliances will change color after being used for a period of time, and its performance will also deteriorate, and it will easily become brittle and crack. These are what we call aging phenomena. To understand the aging resistance of a material or product, it is necessary to pass an aging test and use accelerated aging experiments of different strengths to test the product's aging resistance, thereby providing an understanding of the service life of the material or product.
