GB 4806.11-2023 National Food Safety Standard (Rubber Materials and Products for Food Contact) released
On September 25 , 2023 , the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China ( NHC ) released the new standard GB 4806.11-2023 "National Food Safety Standard for Rubber Materials and Products for Food Contact". The official implementation date of this standard is September 6 , 2024 .
The GB 4806.11-2023 standard replaces GB 4806.11-2016 "National Food Safety Standard Rubber Materials and Products for Food Contact" regarding the relevant requirements for rubber materials and products , as well as the former National Health and Family Planning Commission Announcement No. 14 of 2013 and No. 2014 of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. Basic raw materials for rubber in Announcement No. 14 , Announcement No. 5 of 2016 , Announcement No. 7 of 2016 , and National Health Commission Announcement No. 4 of 2020 .
Compared with the above standards and announcements , the main changes in this standard are as follows :
The scope has been modified;
Revised terms and definitions;
Modified raw material requirements;
Modified physical and chemical indicators;
Added other technical requirements;
Modified migration test requirements;
Appendix A has been modified .
