Concept - - REACH regulations: The European Union's "Regulation, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals Regulations" passed the final vote of the European Council on December 18, 2006, and was officially promulgated in June 2007 It will be fully implemented on the 1st.
REACH replaces the EU's current 40 regulations and becomes a unified set of management regulations for chemical registration, evaluation, licensing and restriction. It has a complete registration and evaluation system, involving about 30,000 chemical substances, requiring all "existing" or "new" chemical substances with an annual production or import volume of 1 ton or more to be registered to provide Relevant safety information for use. REACH involves almost all products (except food, drugs, pesticides) exported to the EU. Relevant products need to meet the registration, notification, licensing and restriction requirements of REACH.
According to the Registration, Evaluation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulations, Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) include hazardous substances that need to be controlled in addition to restricted substances, as long as they include Category 1 and 2 carcinogens, mutagenic, reproductive Toxic substances (Cat. 1 and 2 CMR); persistent, bioaccumulative, toxic substances (PBT); highly persistent, bioaccumulative substances (vPvB) or substances of equal concern (such as endocrine disrupting substances).
Due to the complexity of the supply chain and production process, SVHC testing has been inadvertently introduced into a variety of consumer products. In order to ensure the competitiveness of products in the market, European companies now generally require their suppliers to provide SVHC of related products. Test Report.
Notification --According to EU regulations, the manufacturer or importer must promptly notify the European Chemistry Council of any product whose total detected SVHC restricted substances are greater than 0.1% (w/w) and whose total volume imported into the EU market exceeds 1 ton per year.
Zhongyu will provide you with a complete set of solutions:
1. Production of safety data sheets (MSDS/SDS)
Prepare MSDS/SDS reports that comply with REACH requirements.
2. Routine restricted substance testing
It mainly conducts targeted tests on some high-risk components to confirm that the substances of high concern or restricted substances they contain are below the concentration limit. For example: Are there banned azo dyes in textiles, phthalates in plastics, etc.
3. Review and testing services for substances of very high concern (SVHC)
The list of SVHC substances of very high concern (SVHC) is constantly being updated. A third-party organization needs to test the SVHC in the product and issue an SVHC test report that meets the requirements of REACH. We will promptly notify customers of the list of substances of very high concern (SVHC). Variety.
In order to avoid any potential obstacles to business, it is best to manage and control the SVHC of products as early as possible. Effective planning and accurate testing can better reduce and control the presence of SVHC restricted substances.
So far, ECHA has officially released 29 batches of 235 substances of very high concern (SVHC). The specific list is as follows :
