The U.S. CPSC
requires children 's products to provide CPC testing and certification . The U.S. CPSC and CBP began on March 22 , 2021 , requiring that children's products exported to the United States within their jurisdiction will be marked and reviewed, mainly involving children's beds, bicycles and helmets, lighters , Children's products (including toys and child care products), swimming pool ladders, mattresses and other products, and other children's products may be subject to customs inspection. It is recommended to prepare CPC test reports or CPC certification certificates in advance to prevent goodsfrombeingdetained.

What is the US CPSC ?

CPSC ( Consumer Product Safety Commission ), the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is an important consumer rights protection agency in the United States. CPSC sets strong testing standards for consumer products that have no standards to follow, and conducts inspections of potentially dangerous products, aiming to protect U.S. consumers. interests of the person.

The main tasks promoted by CPSC include:

Establish uniform mandatory national standards for consumer products across the United States.

Convert the toy standard ASTM F963 into a mandatory standard.

About CPC certification certificate

On the basis of the CPC test report, CPSC also puts forward the requirement for a CPC certificate, that is, CPSIA Article 102 requires a Children  's Product Certificate ( CPC ). The CPC certificate is based on the test results of a third-party laboratory and lists the importer / exporter information . , product information, as well as relevant testing items that have been carried out and the regulatory standards based on them, in the form of written documents to prove that the product complies with the US federal children's product safety standards.
