The Gulf Mark (G-Mark) is a mandatory requirement for imported or sold low-voltage electrical equipment (LVE) and children's toys in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. These member states include:
· United Arab Emirates
· Kingdom of Bahrain
· Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
· Sultanate of Oman
· State of Qatar
· State of Kuwait
Although the Republic of Yemen is not a member of the GCC, G-Mark is also recognized.
The G-Mark mark indicates that a product complies with the region's technical regulations and applicable standards and therefore is safe for consumers to use. All products governed by the Gulf Technical Regulations must display the GSO Conformance Traceability Mark (GCT), which consists of the G-Mark logo and a QR code (as shown in the figure).

· Playground equipment intended for public use
· Automatic gaming machines intended for public use, whether or not operated with coin operation
· Toy cars equipped with internal combustion engines
· Toy steam engine
· Booms and catapults
Low Voltage Electronic Equipment (LVE)
All low-voltage electrical and electronic products designed for home use and with a rated voltage of AC 50-1000V/DC 75-1500V must comply with the requirements of Gulf Technical Regulation 142004-01 and display the G-Mark mark. These products are divided into two lists:
Listing 1: Not yet released, but contains low risk electrical. This will include all products outside List 2 or any exempt list.
List 2: High-risk products requiring certification by a Notified Body (NB). details as follows:
